Post-production
A documentary is decided in the edit. We finish our own films and other people’s in our facility in Rome: four edit suites, colour grading, sound, and delivery in whatever formats and languages the film needs.
Editing
Four edit suites, working in Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve. Long-form documentary, series, institutional films and event coverage — from rushes and transcripts through to picture lock. We can take a project from assembly, or step in on a cut that has stalled.
Colour grading
Grading in DaVinci Resolve, from a straight technical pass on institutional material to a full creative grade on a feature documentary. Conform, matching across cameras and archive, and mastering for cinema, broadcast and web.
Motion graphics and titles
Titles, lower thirds, animated maps and graphic sequences in Adobe After Effects — the kind of work that carries a historical documentary through dates, places and events without a narrator having to spell them out.
Professional AI tools
We use professional AI tools where they genuinely help and never where they replace judgement: transcription and searchable rushes, subtitling and translation across languages, dialogue isolation and noise reduction on difficult field audio, and restoration and upscaling of archive material. Every output is checked by a human before it leaves the building.
Delivery
Masters for broadcast, DCP and festival delivery, web and social versions, subtitles and multilingual versioning. If a broadcaster has a delivery specification, we work to it.
