Curtis McCarty spent nineteen years on death row in Oklahoma for a murder he did not commit, before DNA evidence exonerated him in 2007. The film follows him after release, as he confronts PTSD, homelessness and addiction while trying to rebuild a life outside a system that nearly took it.
